My Interests

I started this blog after seeing “Julie & Julia” and chose my beagles as the focus. I then realized I wanted to share more about my passion for quilting. Although this blog has photos of some of my first quilts, I have moved my quilting blog to http://www.quiltedmelodies.wordpress.com.

I also spend a lot of time learning about wellness and nutrition. For over 30 years I have been involved with the Shaklee Corporation – the number one natural supplement company in the world! So you will find this blog a mixture of dogs and their health & wellness needs, quilting – for health to the brain, and nutrition for the human body.

My First Quilt

After a few more online class projects, I finally started the quilt I bought in Kauai. Here is a photo of it:

It’s appliqued pineapples and lots of stippling! That was fun! I love this quilt!

Being creative seems to run in our family… Creativity is a gift God has put into all of us – just start exploring what you like to do!
